Open Days
There's only one way to get a true impression of Cambridge, and that's by visiting.
You can visit Girton, other Colleges, and the entire Univeristy during open days. University Open Days give you the oppourtunity to visit the Departments where students are taught at Cambridge, along with all of the Colleges, each of which has a distinct atmosphere. Open days give you the opportunity to meet Admissions Tutors, Directors of Study, to experience guided College and Department tours, and to see the facilities on offer first hand. Sample lectures and talks give a sample of undergraduate life at Cambridge, but don't forget that there's more to University than lectures

Directions to Girton
To get to Girton from the City Centre: Girton is just over two miles from the City Centre, situated in over 20 hectares of parkland and gardens. For our students it is a pleasant 10-15 minute cycle but for visitors the easiest way to get in and out of town is by bus or taxi. Stagecoach buses Nos. Citi 5, Citi 6 and 55 leave from Emmanuel Street (opposite John Lewis) right in the centre of Cambridge. Ask for Girton Corner and you will be dropped off in front of the main College site.
To get to Girton from the North: when traveling by the A14 keep left past the interchange with the M11. This will then fork, take the right hand road onto the A1307 in the direction of the City Centre (Huntingdon Road). The College car park is signposted from Huntingdon Road and the College is on the left 500 metres after the junction. Enter CB3 0JG into your SatNav.
To get to Girton from the South: when traveling by the M11 leave at J13. Proceed towards the City Centre on the A1303 and then turn left following signs for the A1307 (Huntingdon Road). The College is on the right towards the end of Huntingdon Road and the car park will be signposted. Enter CB3 0JG into your SatNav.
