"The whole night was a success. There was always more to explore, more to see and more to do... go to Girton Spring Ball. Seriously, do it."

Girton Ball is a biannual event, running on even years, with around 1800 guests experiencing a dizzying mix of drink, food, live local performers, live national headliners, and ents.  Its held on the Friday after Lent Term finishes, so it doesn't even clash with other Balls.

The Ball Committee is totally distinct from the JCR, and is formed in the odd-numbered year before a ball by elections hosted by the JCR President in Lent Term Week 5.  Its hard work, and requires a lot of personal responsibility, but it has the massive reward of being part of such a big project, visiting the next Ball for free and getting a fair few freebies from College.  You'll make friends for life and gain experiences that will help you for years to come.
